In Other News...

Hey All!

Man I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I last posted! The reason for this is that our modem at home has broken and I've not had chance to get on the net for ages. I've been mega busy in the mean time though! Just a quick one this, to let you know what I've been up to...

Mum's party was a blast - everyone looked great and we all had a fab time! I'll try and post some photos when I get chance!

I've now got a full time job at The Blundell Arms in Horwich - I couple of people I know work there and all the other staff are a good laugh, so even though I had to quit Inkaa it's been all good. We did wine-tasting in the form of "training" last week, it was lots of fun. I'm also working odd hours at Boots when I have time, so hopefully the money will be rolling in soon!

Also, and probably most importantly, I've got a place in Summer Camp USA! (Cue ceremonial trumpets!). I'm on a Girl Scout Camp in Lebanon, Connecticut, and I fly out on the 10th of June. I was mega shocked when I found out, and now I'm really nervous but excited. Me and Claire went to our 'Orientation' last Saturday, a bit of a prep for before we go, and they showed us what we'll be doing and travel opportunities and stuff so it's all very exciting! So now I've loads of stuff to sort out for before I go, like insurance and visas and what not, so it's all go really!

Sorry it's pretty short and it's taken me ages to post! That's what's been going on in a mere nutshell really. Anyway as I say, once we've got our internet up and running again I'll be posting some 70s disco photos and, most likely, some Australia photos too!
